The word “museum” derives from the ancient Greek, meaning “house of muses”. Nevertheless, the muse of music known as Aedea or Eutherpe, seems not to have frequented such places often enough.
Aglaya, a name coming from the Greek mythology, (Ἀγλαΐα, “the glowing grace”) was the youngest and prettiest from the Three Graces, and symbolizes intelligence, creative potential, and intellectual intuition.
The violist Aglaya González expands her creativity and follows her intuition in order to reach out musically every corner of the museums. She presents thematic concerts through a repertory directly bound with the exposition, adequate to the particular characteristics of each museum or exhibition halls. This repertoire consists of instrumental pieces combined with vocal pieces, poetry and comments about the artistic works and their authors.
She participates in projects such as "MusaE" (http://www.musae.es), a project that claims the presence of music in museums, making them the home of all the arts and generating a synesthetic experience and a special artist-public interaction. It seeks to reach the most intimate of each viewer, that place where each person recognizes itself in art and rejoices in contemplating it. Aglaya as an artist has within reach the possibility of regenerating through music a society that has a little forgotten how to appreciate the exuberant beauty of the spirit.
Below you can see samples of several thematic concerts in museums:

Founded in 2014, Tempus Konnex is a collaboration of professional artists from different fields, who have committed themselves to setting a new stage for avant-garde music.

TEMPUS KONNEX is more than an ensemble in the classical sense of the word. To perform and understand music requires going beyond simply playing repertoire: it involves unveiling the music’s technical and aesthetic considerations as well as its historical setting to the audience. Therefore, theory is not perceived as an imposition overshadowed by music, but rather as a vital element of the music itself.

For this purpose, the concerts include an integration of lectures, interviews and discussions. Moreover, Tempus Konnex’s activity is not limited to the stage but extends to its website for reflections about contemporary music. Extensive dialogues, essays, and criticisms are regularly facilitated and foster a close collaboration of performers, composers, musicologists and philosophers.

The synergy of playing, hearing and thinking is the core idea behind Tempus Konnex. Audiences are invited to learn about this synergy and to take part in it.

The four musicians of the Améi Quartett - Corinna Canzian, Diego Ramos Rodríguez, Aglaya González and Esther Saladin - came together in October 2012 at the International Ensemble Modern Academy. Since then the quartet has been giving concerts in Germany and other European countries: Beethovenhaus Bonn, Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo, Musik der Jahrhunderte Stuttgart, Donaueschinger Musiktage (2016), Wortklangraum Bonn (2017), Hindemith-Institut Frankfurt (2017), Ultima Festival Oslo (2017). One of the highlights of its career was the performance of the five hour long 2nd String Quartet by Morton Feldman at the Alte Oper Frankfurt in September 2014.
The repertoire of the Améi Quartett focuses on modern classics and contemporary music, having collaborated with Nicolaus A. Huber, Helmut Lachenmann and Joanna Bailie. The members of the quartett give concerts at numerous european festivals as soloists or in different orchestras, ensembles and chamber music formations. In November 2012, the Améi Quartett received the special prize at the Chamber Music Competition of the Polytechnische Gesellschaft Frankfurt, and in 2013 it was awarded a honourable mention at the Boris Pergamenschikow Chamber Music Competition. Since then the quartet has expanded its horizons in the field of music education as well, collaborating with the Italian coaching company "Your Business Partner".
